I arrived bright and early, determined to make the most of my day. With my park ticket and Express Pass in hand, I rushed through the turnstiles, greeted by the iconic Pharos Lighthouse and the lively music of Port of Entry. The atmosphere was electric, and I couldn’t wait to start exploring.

My first stop? Marvel Super Hero Island. As a longtime comic book fan, I was eager to experience The Incredible Hulk Coaster. The launch was intense, sending me hurtling at 67 mph with loops, corkscrews, and zero-gravity rolls that left me breathless. Next up was The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, a 3D motion simulator that truly immersed me in the world of Spidey. I could feel the heat of explosions and the cool breeze as I swung through the city—an absolute must-do!

One of the biggest highlights of my day was stepping into Hogsmeade. Seeing Hogwarts Castle in person was surreal, and I wasted no time hopping on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The ride transported me through the halls of Hogwarts, encountering Dementors, dragons, and even a Quidditch match. Afterward, I grabbed a Butterbeer (frozen, of course) and explored the shops, picking up a wand from Ollivanders and casting spells throughout the land.

Being a huge fan of dinosaurs, I couldn’t miss Jurassic Park River Adventure. Drifting peacefully through the jungle quickly turned into a thrilling escape as a T-Rex emerged, followed by a heart-stopping 85-foot drop. But the real showstopper? VelociCoaster. This coaster was an absolute beast—launching me at 70 mph with insane inversions and airtime that had me gripping my seat for dear life. It was easily one of the best roller coasters I’ve ever ridden!

Toon Lagoon & Skull Island – Surprising Fun  

By midday, I was ready to cool off, so Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges were a no-brainer. These rides had me completely soaked but laughing the whole way. Over at Skull Island, Reign of Kong surprised me with its massive animatronic Kong and thrilling 3D sequences.

Seuss Landing – A Whimsical Finish  

As the sun began to set, I made my way to Seuss Landing. The vibrant colors, playful rhymes, and nostalgic rides made for a delightful ending to the day. The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride offered a relaxing journey with a great view of the park, while The Cat in the Hat brought the classic story to life.

Islands of Adventure truly lived up to its name—it was a nonstop adventure from start to finish. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a Harry Potter fan, or just looking for a fun-filled day, this park has something for everyone. I left with sore feet, a full heart, and a newfound appreciation for Universal’s magic. I can’t wait to go back!
